Do you use templates or design from scratch?
Every website is designed around your business, content and objectives. We don’t start with an off-the-shelf theme and try to make your business fit it. The design and build are tailored to the project from the outset.
How much does a bespoke website cost?
It depends on the size, functionality and complexity of the project. Once we understand what you need, we’ll provide a clear proposal outlining the scope, deliverables and cost before work begins.
How long does it take to design and build a website?
Timescales depend on the size of the project and how quickly content and feedback are available. We’ll agree a realistic project schedule with you before work starts, including the key design, development and launch stages.
Will I see the design before development starts?
Yes. We establish the visual direction and key layouts before moving into the main development stage, giving you the opportunity to review and approve the direction first.
Who writes the content?
Usually you, with structure and guidance from us on what each page needs. We can also bring in a copywriter if you’d prefer.
Do you design websites in Figma?
It depends on the project and the designer involved. Some of the designers we work with use Figma as part of their process, while other projects move from creative direction into development differently. We choose the workflow that best suits the project rather than forcing every website through the same process.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We can redesign an existing WordPress website or rebuild a site that is currently on another platform. Where needed, we can also handle the migration of your content, domain and other technical elements.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes. We build WordPress websites so that day-to-day content can be managed without needing a developer. We’ll also structure editable areas carefully so you have flexibility without making it easy to accidentally break the design.
